In Matthew 6:9 and in Luke 11:2, Jesus prayed that God's Name be hallowed, that it be kept holy.  So the Lord's Name is hallowed... it's a very holy Name.  This word means "holy, sacred, to be held in awe and worshipped".  

JESUS is His Name.  In Matthew 1:25 and in Luke 1:31, God commissioned Joseph, the man chosen to be Jesus' earthly father, to give Him the Name of Jesus upon His Birth.
