Ezekiel 14:11 ... ' .... "that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me, nor be profaned anymore with all their transgressions, but that they may be My people and I may be their God", says the Lord God.'  

Through the New Covenant, we are made free.   In the Upper Room, God established an Everlasting Covenant with man and has sealed it with His own oath that will never be broken.  He will never break it! 

He entered into a Blood Covenant relationship with a new nation ... us, you and me ... His spiritual Israel.  He became our God and we became His Covenant people.  In the above Scripture He said that He'd be Israel's God and they'd be His people, and likewise with us and Himself. 

Some people have said ... and it's wrong ... that the Church has taken the place of Israel in God's eyes.  WRONG!  We are grafted in.  By placing the Holy Spirit within us, God has made Himself known to us.  He's taken possession of us as our God, and circumsized our hearts.  He took out our stony hearts and gave us new hearts at our new birth which are open and filled with His Love, bringing our will into harmony with His will.
