God's attributes are very important.  Jesus is the Bapitzer in the Holy Spirit. 

The nine Fruit of the Spirit are listed in Galatians 5:21,22, and are the attributes of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. 

When we have these attributes flowing through us, it gives us a milestone or marker of how much, how close, we are with God ... by the amount of the Fruit manifesting through our lives. 

We haven't arrived  at the total end yet ... we're still working on these things in our lives.  Just because we're up here today, we may not be tomorrow.  We may have fallen back .... it's an ongoing process.
