1 John 2:17b ... "The world, with its desire,  is passing away, but he who does God's will continues forever." 

God promises that the person who does His will and carries out His purposes in his life, will abide, remain, forever.  

Joshua 24:15  NLT ... If you decide it's a bad thing to worship God ... if you refuse to serve Him ... then choose today whom you will serve ... but as for me and my family. we will serve the Lord.
