The Bible contains God's will.  We must get into the Scriptures to know what His will is for us.  Then when we know His will, we must do it.  

James 1:22 in the New King James Version  tells us to "be doers of the Word ... not hearers only".  When we are just "hearers" and not "doers", we'll be deceived.  

Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed (in the same image) to this world," ... in other words, don't do the same things as the unborn again ones, don't act or speak as they do ... "but be transformed by renewing your mind (to God's Word), so that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God".  

Ephesians 4:23 says for us to "be renewed in the spirit of our mind".  Our minds have to be renewed ... changed from our old way of thinking to thinking God's way.  Then we'll begin to know what His will is.
