Ephesians 4:11-13 ... "And He Himself appointed some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers, in order fully to equip His people for the work of serving --- for the building up of Christ's body --- till we ... all of us ... arrive at oneness in faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and at mature manhood and the stature of full-grown men in Christ."    (from WEYMOUTH'S  N. Our Father God has given to us what's called the "5-fold ministry" gifts of men ... and yes, women also ... who would listen to Him and expound to the rest of us believers to better understand what's expected of us to be pleasing to Him.  Like the prophets of old, bringing to the Jews God's words, so are these ministry gifts to us.  Bringing us knowledge to help grow us up and bring us to maturity in Him so we can do the work of the ministry.
