The word intimacy isn't in the Bible, but the word know is.  Do we want to 'know' all about Jesus and pursue the greater knowledge of intimacy with Him? 

In John 14:12, Jesus tells us "the works that I do you shall do and greater works than these shall you do ....". 

Well, the Plan is laid out for us right here ... we're either going to pursue His Plan or we aren't.  To pursue it means that we have to KNOW (be intimate with) Him better.  It means spending time with Him in and through His written Word, spending time in prayer talking to Him and Him talking to you ... whatever you have to do.
