In Isaiah 55:11, God says, "So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth.  It shall not return to Me void (empty), but it shall accomplish that which I please, and prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

We're sad when our witness to the non-believers isn't received because our prayers aren't answered.  They'd think why they should mess around with those 'church people' ... they can't even get their prayers answered.

When we pray correctly, we will have our prayers answered.  Why do we pray and not expect our prayers to be answered?  Do we just want to be heard ... Want recognition ... To be noticed?

What is our motive for praying like this?  Prayer is all about motive.  Jesus said not to pray like the religious people speaking many words  to be seen and heard.  The Scripture reference for this is Matthew 6:5,7
