Someone asked me this question:  "How come God created evil?"  I said: "God didn't create evil  He's never created evil ... He's always created good."  Then this person said: "Well, what about the devil?"   

So ... what about him??  What does the Bible say about the devil?  He was not created as "the devil", he was created "Lucifer".   In the original language, "Lucifer" means "Morning Star".

Ezekiel 28:12,13  The Message Bible ... You had everything going for you.  You were in Eden, God's Garden.  You were dressed in splendor, your robe studded with jewels: the sardius, topaz, diamond, camelian, peridot, moonstone, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald, all in settings of engraved gold.  A robe was prepared for you the same day you were created.  You were the anointed cherub.  I placed you on the mountain of God.  You strolled in magnificense among the stones of fire.  From the day of your creation, you were sheer perfection.
