1 Corinthians 3:6 ... "I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." 

When Bob would tell people things that God had shown and told him, many of them wouldn't receive what he told them. 

God would tell him: "Now don't get excited about them not getting it.  It's their responsibility to get it.  I'll keep working with them.  Somebody else will come along and tell them the same thing that you did, and one day they'll get it.  The other guy will get the credit for it." (because they received it from him)

This is what happens.  God knows that you planted the seed, that you built the foundation, that you did the groundwork.  You did what you were supposed to do.  We feel that there isn't much Glory manifested in that ... not here on the Earth.  Our reward for things like this will be given to us in Heaven.

Our ministry is to plant the seed, watch somebody else water it, and then watch God grow it!
