1 Timothy 2:1b,2: ".... that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks are to be made for all: for kings and all who are in authority ... that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." 

A very important thing that we must all do is intercede ... pray ... for all of our government officials: local and national.  Everyone in a leadership position, including police, firemen, the school system, teachers, etc., is in need of a whole lot of prayer. 

God can take and shape the president of this country and his staff into what He needs them to be ... it will take every bit of our interceding for them, and God is waiting for His family of believers to pray and seek Him to move upon them. 

God won't come into the world and just take over ... the devil is the one who does that.  And we can see how that's doing in this present time.  First our prayers and then God are the only ones who can change it.
