Galatians 2:20 tells us that "we are crucified with Christ." We are not literally crucified though.  Jesus, the anointed One and His anionting lives on the inside of us.  We live the crucified life by our faith in Him. 

You would probably say back to this statement: "What do you mean ... I'm crucified?  I'm sitting right here ... I'm not crucified !"  But you were crucified with Christ ... that's how you got to have a new spirit man.  If Jesus wasn't crucified, you never would've had an opportunity  to be a new creature. 

"Nevertheless, I live ..." We don't live in the spirit realm if we haven't been crucified with Christ before we can actually live: spirit, soul, and body.
